The Little Princess is a British animated series. The protagonist is the four-year-old little princess who lives in a castle with her parents and the court.
action
Characteristic for the almost ten minute long episodes is the confrontation between the princess and her environment. The only adult environment always takes the idiosyncratic princess into consideration, even if everyone suffers from it. The entire state, including the dog Schlamper and Kater Murr, usually endure the will of the princess until she herself has some understanding. Many episodes are titled with "I want ...".
The supporting characters are the Prime Minister, the Admiral, the General, the Gardener, the Cook and the Nanny.

The series is based on the picture books by Tony Ross, which have been published since 1986 . The first seasons produced until 2007 have been dubbed several times since then. Milkshake has been running since 2010 ! - British broadcaster Channel 5's program window has a third season.
