The Klekowski Crag ( Polish Turnia Klekowskiego ) is a 400 m high rocky outcrop on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises on the southern flank of the Lange Glacier at Admiralty Bay .
Scientists on a Polish Antarctic expedition named him in 1979 after Romuald Zdzisław Klekowski (1924-2015), head of the Institute for Ecology at the Polish Academy of Sciences , which maintains the nearby Arctowski station . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred the Polish name to English in 1984.
