Klemens Tilmann

Klemens Tilmann CO (born December 31, 1904 in Berlin ; † December 11, 1984 in Munich ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian and oratorian .

Life

Tilmann defended his doctorate in philosophy in 1928. He was ordained a priest in 1930 and joined the Oratorians in 1934. During the Second World War he served as a medic. After the war he settled in Munich. Tilmann was an academic lecturer. He specialized in pedagogy and catechetics. He was called to serve as an advisor to the Second Vatican Council.
