Cleobule (wife of Amyntor)
Cleobule was the wife of Amyntor and mother of Phoenix .
When Amyntor betrayed her with a rival, she sent her son Phoinix to seduce her. When Amyntor noticed this, Phoinix had to flee to Peleus ( Achilles ' father), where he became Achilles' tutor next to a centaur . As an Achaean hero before Troy , he was not so successful and also did not manage, together with Odysseus and Aias the Thelamonian , to persuade Achilles to take part in the fighting again. Achill did not fight until his friend Patroclus was killed by Hector , and then he also killed many Troer heroes (Trojan heroes) like Hector.
