The Klewang Tebal-Hujong has a straight, single-edged blade. The blade widens from the handle to the location . The blade has neither a central ridge nor a hollow grind . The back of the blade is straight, runs in an arc to the spot and is shorter than the cutting edge. The booklet has no guard . It is made of horn and is decorated with traditional carvings . The pommel is bent over towards the cutting edge. The sheaths are made of wood. The Klewang Tebal-Hujong is used by ethnic groups from Sumatra.
