The Klinaklini Glacier is located in the southern Coast Mountains in the Canadian province of British Columbia .
The 37 km long valley glacier has its nutrient area on the southwest flank of Mount Pelletier at an altitude of 2280 m . It forms part of the Ha-Iltzuk Icefield . The glacier, which is about 2.2 km wide on average, initially flows in a south-easterly direction through the Pacific Ranges . From the left it takes up a larger nameless tributary glacier and turns south. The Silverthrone Glacier then meets the Klinaklini Glacier when coming from the west. This ends after another 13 km at an altitude of about 150 m . Below the glacier tongue , an almost 5 km long glacial rim lake has formed, which is drained by the West Klinaklini River . The glacier is retreating.
