The monastery Åhus was a Dominican monastery in today Sweden belonging Åhus .

From the monastery just a wall in the southern part of Åhuser old town is preserved.

The monastery was built in 1243 by the Archbishop Uffe Thrugotsen . It became an important educational institution for the region. It is assumed that the buildings of the monastery were grouped around a courtyard and that the complex extended to the Helge å , which flows south . At least the monastery church of Sankt Nicolai belonged to the monastery. In the course of the Reformation , the use as a monastery ended in the 16th century. The facility came into the possession of the state and was called Åhus gård . During the 17th century the monastery began to decline.

In the northwestern ruins of the Sankt-Anna-Kapelle there is an altar plate, which was found during road works in the area of the monastery complex and was probably located in the monastery church of Sankt Nicolai.
