The Allerheiligen monastery was a monastery of the Augustinian hermits in Tittmoning .
history
The monastery was founded in 1682 by Max Gandolf von Kuenburg , Archbishop of Salzburg. The building was built under the direction of the Flemish Bartholomäus van Opstal . In 1730 the complex consisted of the monastery building and the church, a south wing with a monastery garden, fountain and pavilion. Around 1760 the facility was expanded to include a west wing.
The abolition of the monastery took place in 1806. In the years 1807 to 1822 a barracks was housed in the monastery complex, from 1823 to 1930 it was used as a prison. In 1854 the west wing and the monastery brewery were demolished. In 1935 the facilities went into private ownership. In 1983 the facility was extensively renovated.
