La Cessoie Monastery has been a French monastery of the Saint Bernard Sisters of Esquermes in Saint-André-lez-Lille on the northern edge of Lille since 1948 .

history

In 1948 the Saint Bernard sisters moved their Notre-Dame de la Plaine ("Maria Flachland") monastery, which had existed since 1827, from Esquermes (today: Lille) to La Cessoie Castle near Lille and made it their mother house (with school facilities).
