Neustadt Monastery on the Saale

Neustadt ad Saale monastery is a former Carmelite monastery in Bad Neustadt an der Saale in Bavaria in the diocese of Würzburg .

The monastery was founded in 1352 by the city council and citizens; it was dissolved in 1803 in the course of secularization . The monastery church became a Catholic parish church . The district court was housed in the monastery buildings built between 1693 and 1703 .
