The Wennigsen monastery office was an administrative unit in the Calenberger Land . It was the forerunner of the Wennigsen office and existed from 1648 to 1816. The office was part of the Calenberg office , but had certain rights of self-administration. The seat was the Wennigsen monastery building . In the last years of its activity, the office was under French administration before it was transferred to a newly founded office in Wennigsen.
