Kremmen, Am Markt 14

The Klubhaus Kremmen , formerly the Hotel Landhaus , is a listed event building on the market square in Kremmen . The plastered building is three-storey, eaves and plastered. The facade has late Classicist decorations. There are two halls on the first floor. The smaller hall is located directly at the windows facing the market square, the large hall with gallery and stage extends into an annex up to the courtyard. The house has eight window axes and a saddle roof and protrudes from the mostly two-story buildings of the Kremmen market square.

The building was built in 1850 as a replacement for the Bussesche Gasthaus, which has existed since 1607, with two floors and a hall extension. In 1900 it burned, and a third floor was added during the reconstruction work. After 1945 there was first a refugee home, then a police barracks, between 1950 a school and from 1971 a clubhouse in the building in which most of Kremmen's public festivals and events took place. The building has been empty since the mid-1990s. Since then, there has only been a handful of filming in the building. In 2013 the city of Kremmen had the roof and facade renovated. In 2015, a local bakery is to open a café on the ground floor.
