The school building was built in 1910/1911. It was entered under No. B 034 on September 24, 1984 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

architecture

The school building is a two-storey solid building above a high basement with an extended mansard roof on an H-shaped floor plan . The school was expanded with single-storey annexes to the caretaker's and principal's house.

The object with structured rough plaster facades and smoothly cut window openings is divided into 3 × 4 axes on the main facade facing the playground . The characteristic school building from the time before the First World War is worth preserving for reasons of architectural history and urban planning.
