Knechtstedener forest

The Knechtstedener Forest is a mixed forest area west of Dormagen , which includes the parts Mühlenbusch, Knechtstedener Busch and Chorbusch. It is an FFH area (DE-4806-303). It is the headwaters of the Pletschbach . The species found include black woodpecker , middle woodpecker , grass snake and agile frog . The district forester Theo Peters is responsible for forestry.
