The Knife Point is a headland on the south side of Borge Bay in the east of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located 150 m southeast of the mooring point .
The headland's name appears for the first time on a map drawn up in 1927 after a rough survey of Borge Bay by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations . The name probably goes back to whalers. The naming background has not survived.
