The Inzersdorf junction is a motorway junction in the metropolitan region of Vienna and the northern starting point of the south autobahn (A2) , which branches off from the autobahn Südosttangente Wien (A23) there .
Position and design
The motorway junction is located in the middle of Vienna's Inzersdorf district and is built as a very elongated motorway triangle , which basically consists of three motorway forks. The continuous lane in the motorway junction is formed by the A2 and A23 from the east ( TOTSO ).
The eastern fork (A23-Ost) is embedded in a pear-shaped motorway junction that connects the Sterngasse crossing in both directions of the A23. The access to the A2 is via the ramp from the A23-East, the exit from the ramp to the A23-West. At the connection between A2 and A23-West, Wiener Neustädter Straße (B 17), which is called Triester Straße here , is connected to the Süd Autobahn (A2) via another fork .
Others
The local railway Vienna – Baden crosses under the motorway junction twice in the area of its western fork.
