Koblenz Literature Prize
The Koblenz Literature Prize was a literature prize donated by the Institute for German Studies at the University of Koblenz , the University's Circle of Friends and the Koblenz Theater . From 2000 to 2012, it was used to honor individual works (a maximum of three) by writers who “break new literary paths” (according to the award guidelines) or who already had a corresponding complete work.
The award also wanted to honor authors who either live in the Middle Rhine region or whose texts address this region. Thanks to the support of Volksbank Koblenz Mittelrhein e. G. and Signal Iduna Insurance Koblenz endowed with 13,000 euros.
