Cooking with Luis is an Australian cooking show hosted by Nickelodeon . The series is aimed primarily at preschoolers, where children are brought closer to cooking.

A 6-year-old boy named Luis prepares various dishes together with adults from his circle of relatives and shows how to prepare his favorite dishes such as scrambled eggs , tortillas , dumplings or Guatemalan cheesecake .
Charisma
Cooking with Luis ran about six times a day on the Australian Nick Jr. window from 2004 to 2007. After that, the program was rarely broadcast until it finally disappeared from the program window. In addition to Australia, the program ran in the USA , Ireland , Great Britain , Canada , South Africa , Germany , Poland and France . In Germany, on the other hand, it ran as an advertising filler between the Nick Jr. and Nickelodeon program windows shortly before 12:00 noon.
Merchandise
In 2007, Pluto Press released a broadcast-based cookbook called Luis' Fab Food Favorites to Make, Cook ... and Eat! with DVD out. The DVD contains ten episodes of the series.
Awards
The show won two ASTRA Awards in 2005 for the most outstanding Australian production in the children's and short films categories. Luis Tanner was also nominated as the most popular new presenter. At the age of six, Tanner is currently the world record holder for the youngest presenter of his own television show.
