Koh Tonsay ( Khmer : កោះទន្សាយ - "Rabbit Island") is an island in Cambodia , it is located around 4.5 kilometers southwest of Kep . The area is around 1.7 km². Tourists appreciate it for its two sandy beaches, Sunset Beach (northwest) and Long Beach (southwest). Outside the beaches, the coast is dominated by mangroves .

The sea surrounding the island is shallow, making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. In the area around the island there are coral reefs as well as several species of aquatic plants, fish and other animals.

During the reign of Prince Norodom Sihanouk in the 1940s and 1950s, it was temporarily used as a place for the internment of prisoners who were also responsible for the defense of the island. At that time, paths for horse carts and inns made of wood and palm leaves were built, but these were again destroyed by the weather and during the civil war. Today there are seven families living on the island who live from fishing and the coconut trees. It is a popular destination for Cambodians and increasingly also for foreign tourists.

There are several cabins on the island that can be rented. There is also a small restaurant with simple dishes.
