Koh e Takhte Rostam e Tscha Mar ( Persian کوه تخت رستم چاه مار; "Mountain of the Throne of Rostam the Well Serpent") is a mountain on the Afghan-Iranian border.
It is located near the Iranian city of Zabol and Saranj in the Nimrus province in Afghanistan. The area belongs to the historical region of Zabulistan , which is considered the birthplace of the mythical Rostam . The mountain is also named after this hero from the Persian national epic Shahnama .
