Koharik Schirinian
Koharik Schirinian (* 1865 in Istanbul ; † 1935 there ) was an Armenian actress who introduced the methods of Comédie-Française to the Ottoman stages.
In 1874 she had her first appearance in a children's role in the Gedik Paşa Theater (later known as the Ottoman Theater ) by Agop Güllü . From 1878 to 1880 she was a solo singer and played in temporary roles. From 1882 she was soprano in Serovpe Benliyan's opera company. After the closure of Benliyan's theater, she joined the cast of Mardiros Minakyan in 1887 . For ten years she played leading roles in the Ottoman Comedy Troupe .
