The Kohl Plateau (also Kohl-Larsen Plateau ) is an icy plateau in the center of South Georgia between the head ends of the Keilhau and Neumayer glaciers and is up to 760 m high .
The plateau was discovered and first mapped by the German explorer Ludwig Kohl-Larsen (1884–1969) between 1928 and 1930. The South Georgia Survey named it after its discoverer during a survey carried out from 1951 to 1952.
