Kola (unit)
Kola was an Indian measure of length in the Karnataka region . The measure was considered the basic measure. As a square measure square kola the measure with Kunta was designated.

- 100 kunta / (square cola) = 1 kauni = 2400 square feet (engl.) = 1/18 acre (engl. 1 A. = 4046.86) ≈ 224.83 square meters (calculated)
Two kauni were used as a sowing measure and one Kalum seed was calculated to cost 96 pounds . (about 43545 grams ).
