Kolkhoz (potter)
Kolkhoz (Κόλχος) was an Athenian pottery 540 v. He is one of the small masters .
He is only known for his potter's signature on an oinochoe , found in Vulci , today in Berlin, Antikensammlung F 1732. It was painted in the Attic black-figure style by the vase painter Lydos . On it the fight between Heracles and Ares can be seen over the body of the slain Cyknos in the presence of the gods.
