The Kolosov Point ( English ) is a headland on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies north of Platypus Ridge and west of the confluence of the Lillie glacier tongue in the head end of Ob 'Bay .
Scientists from the Second Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956–1958) discovered and photographed them. They named it after Vladimir Kolossov, an aircraft navigator who died in the Arctic .
