A combination pliers (short: "pliers") is a tong that combines the functions of several types of pliers in itself and thus a multifunctional tool is. It is used for gripping and cutting / pinching off wires. For this purpose, it has a side cutting edge like a wire cutter , but also the jaws of flat-nosed pliers and pipe wrenches , called burner holes, to hold flat objects or screw heads .
