Command Martyr Halimeh
The command martyr Halima (English: Martyr Halimeh) was a four-man terrorist squad of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine , October 13, 1977, the flight from Palma to Frankfurt the "Landshut" hijacked a Boeing 737 of Lufthansa with 91 people Board. The group held the plane under their control until October 18.
" Halima " was originally the code name of the terrorist Brigitte Kuhlmann who was shot in the plane hijacking to Entebbe .
The leader of the terrorist squad was Zohair Youssif Akache . During the kidnapping he murdered the captain of the Landshut, Jürgen Schumann . The other members were Souhaila Andrawes aka Soraya Ansari, Hind Alameh aka Nadja Duaibes, and Wabil Harb aka Riza Abbasi.
The kidnapping ended October 18, 1977 at the airport of Mogadishu with the hostage rescue by the special unit GSG-9 . On the part of the command, only Andrawes survived the firefight.
