Communicator (media)

The communicator is in communication science models of mass communication of the transmitter , of a message over a mass medium transmits to the public (the so-called recipient). Journalists are traditionally the main subject of communicator research . The relevant branch of research is divided into four aspects of the communicator role:

  • Institutional aspects (e.g. editing and publishing)
  • Individual aspects (e.g. subjective values ​​and attitudes of the communicators).
