The Kompass Glacier ( English Compass Glacier ) is a glacier on the north coast of South Georgia . It flows east of The Trident and west of Müller Ridge in a north-northeast direction to Antarctic Bay .
The glacier is named after the compass to which Frank Worsley belonged and with which he, Ernest Shackleton and Thomas Crean managed to cross South Georgia in 1916 as part of the endurance expedition (1914–1917).
