The Končar Group is a Croatian industrial company that manufactures high-voltage related products .
overview
The group was founded in 1921 and at that time manufactured electric motors in Zagreb . The production developed under the brand names Elektra, Siemens, Rade Končar, in order to get the current name Končar in the end. The brand name, which is known in several countries, forms the core business. The company was named after the partisan Rade Končar (1911–1942).
Since 1994 Končar is working within the framework of joint ventures Končar Power Transformers (KPT) with Siemens and represents the factory in Zagreb power transformers ago.
