The Egyptian Conference Party ( Arabic حزب المؤتمر المصري, DMG Ḥizb al-muʾtamar al-maṣrī ) or Congress Party is a secular party consisting of 25 former Egyptian parties. It covers a spectrum of different political directions, including liberal, left-wing and representatives of the former ruling party NDP .
The predecessor parties included the Free Egyptians , the Reform and Development Party and the al-Ghad party . The party's chairman is former presidential candidate Amr Mussa , while Aiman Nur will be the party's spokesman.
