Conference call (broadcast)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A conference call on radio ( radio or television ) consists of at least two reports that are switched back and forth. Conference calling is common for events that take place in multiple venues. This mainly includes elections and sporting events . A well-known example is the Bundesliga Conference of the ARD .

In conventional transmission technology , the switchover is done by the broadcast control. Newer television technology allows switching by the viewer. For example, the pay-TV channel Premiere has been offering a conference call for the German Bundesliga since the 2000/01 season .
