Konfety Karagandy ( Russian Конфеты Караганды ) is a confectionery producer in Kazakhstan , based in Karaganda . The products from Kon Sicherheit Karagandy mainly include chocolate , pralines and confectionery as well as waffles .

The company was founded in 1956. However, the production of confectionery started in 1941 when the corresponding machines and equipment were brought from Astrakhan to Karagandy.

In 1970 the company received the Soviet Order of the Red Banner of Labor .

Over the years, the company was owned by the British UIG Limited and is now part of the Kazakh RG BRANDS .
