Konrad Rakemann

Konrad Rakemann (born December 8, 1902 in Sarstedt , † April 16, 1964 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Konrad Rakemann completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator and continued his technical training in evening schools. He joined the union and the workers' sports federation and was accepted as a member of the SPD in 1920. Later he took over the chairmanship of the local SPD in Sarstedt and became mayor there in 1929. Because of his membership in the SPD he was dismissed in 1933 . He then worked as an engineer until the end of the Second World War . After the end of the war he became a member of the district council in the Hildesheim-Marienburg district. From April 20, 1947 to April 30, 1951, Rakemann was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (1st electoral period).
