Based on the same address and the legal succession in the Schöffenstuhl , according to sources, Konrad von dem Eichhorn is presumed to be one of the sons of Johannes von dem Eichhorn . He was elected to the council of the city of Aachen in 1338, 1351 and 1364 and in the meantime was admitted to the aldermen's college in 1350. The Eichhorn was also used several times as the envoy of the Maas-Rhein peace alliance , which led him to Jülich, Cologne, Maastricht and Brussels, among others. This alliance, founded in 1351 between Kurköln and the Duchy of Brabant as well as the cities of Aachen and Cologne , campaigned, among other things, for the lifting of unjust customs duties and for the protection of traveling merchants and pilgrims. In addition, Konrad von dem Eichhorn was elected as one of Aachen's three jurors in the jury of the Landfriedensbündnis in the years 1364 to 1369 and 1375 to 1379.

In the meantime, Konrad von dem Eichhorn was elected mayor of Aachen in 1368 . During his term of office, he and his mayor colleague Jakob Colyn were responsible for the bloody suppression of the uprising of the weavers and cloth walkers who campaigned for better working conditions and pay.

With her he had, among other things, the son of the same name, Konrad , who succeeded him as a lay judge and was head of Aachen several times.
