Konsa järv (järv = lake) is an artificial lake between the rural communities of Kanepi and Põlva in Põlva County on mainland Estonia . The Porijõgi stream flows through the lake . 500 meters from the two-hectare lake, the village is Talvikese and 38.3 km away is the 3,555 square kilometers Peipus ( Peipsi Pihkva järv ). The village of Talvikese is in the rural municipality of Kambja in Tartu County , as the border between Põlva and Tartu is only 50 meters from the lake.
