music
The beats come from Djorkaeff and AlphaBeatz Musikproduktions . Pieces 2 through 8 use synthesizers , while those of the other pieces are more musically diverse. Synaesthesookee, for example, contains an oriental melody.
subjects
Thematically, the album can be divided into two parts. Pieces 2 to 7 are stylistically assigned to battle rap , while 8 to 15 are predominantly “ storytelling ”.
The title track Head Heart Ass is a kind of self-characterization. In Booking , Pyranja and her Ostblokk colleagues Joe Rilla and Dra-Q are musical guests who Sookee had met two years earlier. At Stilbruch, of which there is a second version on the album with the Realmix , she introduces her Springstoff colleagues BierPimp, Mad Maks and Chrizzow Flex, who have their say a bit later ( pressure ) as guests. Is dit nicely illuminates ironic rap clichés.
In Marvin & Justin is about a prostitute. 8ung is about fighting poverty; with this piece she took part in the “Beats & Lyrics Contest” as part of the UN Millennium Campaign in Germany. One another is a declaration of love to an unnamed counterpart. Untitled is directed against a pedophile .
illustration
The cover shows a picture of the rapper, with the lettering of her artist name appearing very "squiggly". Both on the cover and in the booklet, purple is the dominant color; the latter is kept relatively simple and short. The photos come from her sister, who works as a photographer, the artwork was designed by her Springstoff colleague Mad Maks.
reception
The album tended to receive positive reviews. It was praised for standing out from the crowd within the genre. So certifies the website rap.de the album, " some claim [ to have ], which today, unfortunately, all too rarely the case ," "was, and not behind clichés " to hide. cd.baby.com characterizes it as a “ charismatic and professional mix of rap songs that makes the audience think and feel ”.
