It is located in the Pyongyang district of Mangyŏngdae-guyŏk in Sonnae-dong . The KCC employs over 1000 people and has offices in Germany , China , Syria and the United Arab Emirates . The institute is responsible for the development of the Red Star OS and administers the .kp top-level domain .
