Kornelia Hässig Vinzens , often just Kornelia Hässig (born March 16, 1967 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Kornelia Hässig Vinzens studied biology in Zurich and then worked from 1994 to 2000 as a research assistant in the field of nature and landscape protection at the building department of the canton of St. Gallen . From 2002 to 2003 she completed a higher teaching degree in biology in Zurich and then worked from 2004 to 2011 as a teacher at the Bern Vocational, Technical and Advanced Training School (BFF). Since 2011 Hässig Vinzens has been working as a specialist in training and further education at the Federal Office of Energy . She is married, has three children and lives in Zollikofen .

politics

Kornelia Hässig Vinzens was a member of the environmental protection commission in the municipality of Muri from 2007 to 2009 and a member of the municipal council (executive) from 2009 to 2013, where she headed the environment and energy department. In 2016 she was elected to the large municipal council (legislature) of Zollikofen.

In February 2016, Hässig Vinzens succeeded Eva Baltensperger in the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern . She was a member of the Justice Commission from 2016 to 2018 and has represented the SP parliamentary group in the Building, Energy, Transport and Spatial Planning Commission since 2017.

Kornelia Hässig Vinzens is co-president of the SP Frauen Kanton Bern, board member of SP Zollikofen and vice-president of the Mittelland section of the Casafair association.
