The Correspondent ( Russian Корреспондент ; Ukrainian : Кореспондент) is a Russian-language news magazine from Ukraine . The magazine appears weekly, has a circulation of around 50,000 copies per issue and is published by KP Media- Verlag.

The range of topics includes news, politics, especially from the post-Soviet states and the CIS area , economy, science and technology, culture and entertainment, sport and a local section about Kiev . In addition, translated articles from selected international press can be found in the "Correspondents".

While the print edition appears exclusively in Russian, the website is also available in Ukrainian.

Since 2003, Korrespondent has published a list of the most influential people in Ukraine once a year, following the example of the US news magazine TIME and its Time 100 list . Julija Tymoshenko , Viktor Yushchenko , Rinat Akhmetov and Viktor Yanukovych were already in first place .
