Korsar Island ( Russian Остров Корсар Ostrow Korsar , German ' Buccaneer Island ' ) is an island off the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located in the area of the Bunger Oasis .
Soviet scientists named them. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this name into English in 1989.
