Kotabu (also: Entrance Iceland ) is a Motu of Butaritari - atoll of the Pacific island republic of Kiribati .

geography

Kotabu is a small, uninhabited island in the west of the reef crown of the Butaritari Atoll. It is located south of the island of Tikurere and together with it between the North Channel and Central Channel in the north and the South Main Channel , which provide access to the Butaritari Lagoon . In the southern channel are the shallows of Ramanaba Drying Coral Head (The Breaker) and Flink Point Reef . South of the canal is Flink Point (Tabononibi / Taboshonnobi Point) on the eponymous main island of Butaritari.
