Kotokoli is a chiefdom of the Temba nation in Togo , West Africa , which can be traced back to the 18th century.

The title of the ruler is Wuro Eso (today's spelling in Tem : Wúro Ɩsɔ́ɔ, roughly: God-King ). The rulers are provided by the Mola clan . The monarchy has recently become Muslim .

The first Wuro Esso was Tcha Djobo I. Probably the most important and to this day also highly respected ruler outside of Togo was Wuro Esso Djobo IV Isifou Ayéva (rule in the period 1949–1980), since 1949 continuously based in Komah, a district of Sokodé .

Akoriko Ali has been the holder of the throne since 2012.
