Kou Qianzhi
Kou Qianzhi ( Chinese 寇 謙 之 , Pinyin Kòu Qiānzhī , W.-G. K'ou Ch'ien-chih ; * 365 ; † 448 ) was a Chinese Daoist from the time of the Northern Wei Dynasty , who believed in the Sky Master Daoism ( Tianshi dao ).
In the year 415 Laozi ( Taishang Laojun ) appeared to him in the Songshan Mountains and was revealed to him the title of Heaven Master in order to reform the false teaching ( wei fa ) of the Three Zhang (i.e. the first three Heaven Masters):
"除去 三张 伪 法 , 租米 钱 税 及 男女 合 气 之 术 , 大道 清虚 清虚 , 岂有 斯 事!"
(Eng. "Away with the false doctrine of the Three Zhang, the travel taxes, money taxes and the art of uniting the qi of man and woman ( nannü heqi zhi shu ). The Great Dao is pure and empty, what does it need these things!" )
