The Koblenzer Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH ( koveb for short ) operates parts of the bus traffic in the public transport system in Koblenz . The company was created in 2019 through the acquisition of EVM Verkehrs GmbH by Koblenzer Mobilitätsgesellschaft GmbH. This was founded in the same year by the city of Koblenz. In doing so, it also acquired the concession to operate the inner-city bus routes.

In the beginning, public transport in Koblenz was operated by KEVAG . However, this merged with EVM in 2014 . In 2019, the Koblenz mobility company bought EVM Verkehrs GmbH, which also took over the concession.
