Kowloon City District Council

The Kowloon City District Council ( Kowloon City District Council ) is the body of the district council of the Kowloon City District and thus one of the 18 district councils in Hong Kong . This consists of 25 members, who are elected according to the personality selection system.

Known members

Starry Lee , party leader of the pro-Chinese Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong , has been a member of the To Kwa Wan North constituency since 2000 .

The current chairman of the assembly is Poon Kwok-wah.

Local election in Hong Kong 2019

In the local elections in Hong Kong in 2019 , the pro-democracy camp won the majority of the seats on the body. Starry Lee barely managed to defend her seat against Leung Kwok-hung .
