  • August Kraak (1902–1947), German anti-fascist resistance fighter
  • Wolfgang Kraak (1923–2015), German engineer specializing in acoustics and signal analysis and professor emeritus for technical acoustics at the Technical University of Dresden
  • Piet Kraak (* 1928), Dutch football player
  • Aaltje Kraak (* in the 17th century), who caused the great fire of 1708 in Hardenberg (Overijssel)
