Kraftliner

Kraftliner is a type of paper similar to Kraft paper that is not used directly for packaging purposes, but as a liner for cardboard.

It consists of bleached or unbleached kraft pulp (sulfate pulp) with a particularly high proportion of long fibers. Kraftliner is used as a top layer on corrugated or solid cardboard . It has a high strength and is resistant to moisture.

A special application of Kraftliner are slip sheets . Slipsheets are an aid for the palletless transport of goods. Slipsheets for particularly high load-bearing and tensile forces are usually made of multi-layered, glued kraft liner.

According to the customs definition, kraftliner must have a basis weight of at least 120 g / m², but is offered with basis weights between 115 g / m² and 430 g / m². The recycling share is a maximum of 20%.
