Kraftwerk 2 is the second album by the band Kraftwerk , it was released in January 1972.

background

Kraftwerk 2 was completely written by Florian Schneider and Ralf Hütter. In contrast to the later Kraftwerk albums, very little was done with synthesizers. The main instruments in this album are electric guitar, bass guitar and violin .

Cover

The cover shows, as with Kraftwerk and Ralf and Florian, a traffic cone , only here is Kraftwerk 2 and the cone is striped in white and bright green .

publication

In Germany it was released as a normal record , in Great Britain it was released in March 1973, so only over a year later on Vertigo Records together with the first album as a double LP. The first three Kraftwerk albums and Tone Float from the predecessor band Organization have never been officially released on CD to this day. The album was released as a music cassette in the late 1970s .
