Kraj (1869–1874)

The Kraj ( Land ) was a Polish daily newspaper published in Krakow from 1869 to 1874 .

The newspaper was founded by Adam Sapieha . In October 1869 Ludwig Gumplowicz took over the publishing and editing. Under his leadership the newspaper became a promoter of positivism in Galicia .

Employees included Michał Bałucki Józef Ignacy Kraszewski and Ignacy Maciejowski .
